Andy has over twenty five years international experience in the application of IT to deliver business outcomes. He has specific expertise in the areas of business and IT strategy development, IT service management, outsourcing, technology selection and in customer management. He has fifteen years consulting experience working at senior levels across numerous industries in the private and public sectors, but especially in financial services including retail banking, mortgage origination and servicing, life assurance, funds management, superannuation and share trading.
Prior to migrating to Australia, Andy held marketing, operational and commercial management roles in IBM (UK) and AT&T (UK). He holds an MBA and an honours degree in Industrial Economics. He is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
With over 20 years experience in consulting and management, Steve thrives on the challenge of developing outstanding teams to achieve outstanding results. Steve's main focus is in bridging the gap between business and IT, providing key decision support to senior teams on how best to achieve their business strategies through effective application of process and technology. Steve has a pragmatic style that focuses on coaching and teamwork – driving out practical, value oriented solutions with true business ownership. Prior to cofounding The Pitt Crew in 2003, Steve spent over 10 years at WorldGroup and PA Consulting as a Senior Business Consultant. Steve established his career as PA’s IT Manager in the Asia Pacific region, aligning IT solutions to meet business requirements in a demanding, results oriented industry.
Steve has a wealth of experience across a broad range of industries including Financial Services, Manufacturing and Telecommunications. Recent clients include BPAY Cardlink and Genworth Financial.
Matt has over 15 years international experience as a Business Architect and Consultant with principal skills including Business Process Transformation, Enterprise Architecture, Strategy Implementation, IT Strategy Facilitation and Project Management.
Matt has delivered exceptional value for clients in a number of different industries in Australia and overseas including BT Financial Group, Macquarie Bank, Zurich, Promina, American Express, RAMS Home Loans, Govt of Singapore Investment Corp, Energy Australia, and David Jones.
Matt brings a powerful blend of big-picture thinking and an intimate understanding of the broader business drivers combined with attention to detail, to provide robust, business driven solutions for his clients. Prior to cofounding the Pitt Crew, Matt spent over 10 years with WorldGroup Consulting and SPL, as a Senior Consultant in their Australia, Singapore and the US businesses. Matt is based in Christchurch and heads up The Pitt Crew’s New Zealand operation.
Andrew’s career has been focused on the application of information technology to business for more than twenty years. Previously with PA Consulting, he has served clients in the finance, government, software development and telecommunications sectors with a range of IT management consulting and business planning services since 1995. Before his consulting career, his work with IT vendors included product marketing, technology strategy, support services and project management.
Andrew is regularly engaged to review IT costs and strategies for retail financial institutions. These assignments generally involve the development of recommendations in response to various service and product proposals involving the selection of core banking systems, customer servicing software, and related infrastructure. He has also assisted a number of credit unions and related IT service companies in the fields of business continuity management.
He has in-depth experience with systems for clearing and settlement, particularly in relation to smartcards and has a detailed understanding of the regulatory factors which affect systems in the financial services industry. He has evaluated internet banking systems for several financial institutions. Andrew has also been retained to monitor the development of financial systems for a major NSW Government initiative.
Geoff Nadin has over thirty years' experience in developing and managing the delivery of IT and business improvement solutions. He has worked in and for most business and government sectors, including manufacturing, hospitality, airlines and other transport, distribution and logistics, finance (banking, insurance, securities), defence, infrastructure (including Hydro Commission of Tasmania), telecommunications and education.
Geoff has a depth of expertise across many disciplines including project management, process improvement, and IT outsourcing and project audit (particularly in technology / systems delivery projects). Recent clients include Tower Insurance, PMI, and the Tasmanian Government (DIER)
