Andrew Andersen

Andrew proposes, leads and delivers a range of IT management consulting and advisory services to clients, mostly in financial and government sectors.

He has particular expertise in IT solution architecture, financial systems, risk management, payments, solution requirements, implementation management, managed services, and transit fare payment systems and related technology.

Andrew gained extensive client experience at PA Consulting Group, a large, global management consultancy. Before his consulting career, his work with IT vendors included product marketing, technology strategy, support services and project management in Australia and the United States.

Andrew was appointed as Chair, Aviation Safety Advisory Panel, in July 2024. The Panel has been established by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Australia to provide informed, objective high-level advice from the aviation community on current, emerging and potential issues that have, or may have, significant implications for aviation safety and the way the Authority performs its functions.

Since 2019, Andrew has also been a member of the standing panel of the Sanctions Tribunal of Australian Payments Network Limited.

Andrew holds a degree in engineering, and is a member of the Institution of Engineers, Australia and member of the Institute of Managers and Leaders.
